Founded in 2004 by Kate Caldwell, ElderTree began with a simple yet profound mission — to provide Northern Virginia’s seniors and their families with the personalized support they need to navigate the complexities of aging. Over the years, we have grown into the longest-standing provider of concierge care management for people of all ages, trusted by families, attorneys, and healthcare providers alike. Every client is seen, heard, and valued as we guide them through life’s most challenging transitions.

In June 2023, ElderTree entered a new chapter with new leadership, but our commitment to excellence has only deepened. Our care model is uniquely collaborative, with every client supported by a dedicated team of 4-5 care managers. This team-based approach ensures that no detail is overlooked and no crisis is left unaddressed. With 24/7 care manager availability, we stand ready to assist families when they need us most, providing peace of mind when you can’t physically be there for your loved one. 

Beyond the care we provide, ElderTree is deeply rooted in the community. We honor the lives of our clients in meaningful ways, from planting trees in memory of those who have passed to celebrating client birthdays as cherished milestones. We believe in leading with heart, and that ethos touches every part of our work.
